Summer Walker makes a triumphant return with the long-awaited end to her iconic album trilogy.
On Friday, November 14, the Grammy-nominated singer released her third studio LP Finally Over It via LVRN/Interscope Records. Summer Walker's double-album holds 18 tracks in total, beginning with disc 1 a.k.a. "For Better." The first half of the album contains her smash hit "Heart Of A Woman" alongside fresh collaborations with Chris Brown, Anderson .Paak, Latto, Doja Cat, Mariah The Scientist, and Bryson Tiller. Disc 2, known as "For Worst," is the more dramatic half of the album featuring GloRilla, Monaleo, Sexyy Red, SAILORR, 21 Savage, Brent Faiyaz, and Teddy Swims.
Finally Over It is the final installment of Summer Walker's Over It album series. It began in 2019 with her debut album Over It, featuring her breakthrough hit "Girls Need Love" with Drake and "Come Thru" featuring Usher. She followed up with Still Over It in 2021 with songs like "Ex For A Reason" with JT, "No Love" featuring SZA and more. Walker confirmed the third installment last year and followed up with "Heart Of A Woman." The song recently earned two Grammy nominations for Best R&B Song and Best R&B Performance.
To celebrate her album's release, Summer Walker delivered the music video for her emotional track "KMT." In the video directed by child, Summer Walker participates in a spiritual ritual before putting on her wedding dress at a house in the middle of nowhere. She sings the song while taking a cleansing bath and wearing copper jewelry with her ancestors surrounding her.
