Louisiana Deploying Rescue Personnel To FL To Assist With Dorian Response

The state of Louisiana is sending around 100 Urban Search and Rescue personnel to Florida to assist with the response to Hurricane Dorian.

On Monday, officials sent three 35-man teams and a 21-person Incident Support Team along with boats, EMS, and K-9 units to Florida.

The teams specialize in disaster deployment operations and logistics.

Multiple agencies provided manpower to the teams from all over Louisiana including Monroe, Shreveport, Pineville, Baton Rouge, New Orleans, Houma, St. George, and more.
