The National Hurricane warned Tropical Storm Francine could reach category 2 hurricane strength before its landfall along the Louisiana mid-week.
The storm's maximum sustained winds were at 65 miles per hour as of the 4pm Monday update from the NHC, which added Francine was moving north-northwest at a slightly faster 7 miles per hour.
